Geisha House is a Japanese restaurant/bar/lounge. Nice Atmosphere and love their Molten Chocolate cake, but food is extremely expensive is it is just so-so Japanese food. Parking on the street or Valet parking for $8

As for food, i order their special meal ($80) including: soup, a bunch of samplers, a main course (black cod), salad, dessert. And i order a lychee juice.
for DH, he order the Grilled Flat Iron Kobe Beef Steak 8 oz $42,
Albacore $12, Baby Bay Scallop cut roll $7, and water.
The drink and soup is pretty fast (within 5 mins), but after that…..slow…..it’s like they wait for me to finish the dish before they prepare for the next dish….
Miso Soup with Fresh Crab Legs (included in the special meal)

after 15 mins……
Albacore ($12) Sashimi slices of fresh Pacific White Tuna garnished with ponzu sauce

another 15 mins……
Samplers of Geisha House Cold Dishes and yaki(included in the special meal)
(left to right): mushroom tempura, Chicken (Tender chicken breast, teriyaki, salt & pepper, and sesame seeds), Fish (Salmon with ginger sauce), Spicy Taru-Taru Crispy Rice (Select grade of tuna served on a bed of crispy toasted rice, btw their crispy toasted rice is really like pan-fry rice, no crispy at all)

again…another 15 mins……
Samplers of their sashimi(included in the special meal)
salmon, tuna (already put in my mouth before i take the picture, so it’s not there), albacore, yellow tail

after 20 mins……
Baby Bay Scallop($7)Creamy spicy sauce

after another 15 mins….finally the main dish….
Grilled Flat Iron Kobe Beef Steak 8 oz($42)Soy, garlic and sesame dipping sauce with freshly grated mountain wasabi
*it so not worth the $42…the sause is too salty, the beef is not that good…

Black Cod($16)Saikyou yaki Geisha House style; marinated in miso and garnished with locally grown endive
*this one is the best tasting dish for our night

another 15 mins after i am done with the main course….
Some sample of Geisha house sushi (included in the special meal):
shrimp temputra cut roll, salmon, tuna, yellowtail, shrimp

15 mins more….
salad (included in the special meal):

15 mins again….
dessert-(i forgot the name) kinda like chocolate mouss (included in the special meal)

i want to order the mold chocolate for dessert, but i saw GapGap face like
, so i just order to go….it doesn’t have the icecream with it…but i have to said it is a good cake, but you don’t need to go all the way to geisha house to have it, the beardpapa Fondant Au Chocolate is almost as good as that one!

their waitess is quite wonderful, she could read my face before i even ask her “where is the food?”. And the manager did stop by and ask us how is everything, i told him it is great except it take kinda long…2.5 hrs, he said “2 hours is great timing!” i goes
right…..
the bills is close to $165 for the two of us, with tip is $185
Valet parking fee is $8, but they collect it before they bring your car up so that you need to tip that boy again (or we don’t need to?!)…..so it is $10 for us….
